The following factors should be taken into consideration while choosing the place where the generator will be placed:

  • If the generator is to be placed in a closed area, care should be taken to ensure that the generator room has sufficient ventilation for the suction-combustion-cooling systems to work properly and efficiently.
  • It must be protected against factors such as rain, snow, wet slush, flood water, direct sunlight, freezing cold and extreme temperatures.
  • It must be protected against airborne materials such as abrasive or conductive dust, thread, smoke, oil smoke, steam and engine exhaust smoke.
  • The generator room floor must be smooth and solid.
  • The generator must be protected against hitting objects such as trees or poles that may fall over.
  • There should be at least 1 meter space around the generator and at least 2 meters above the generator for cooling and easy maintenance.
  • In order to carry the generator into the room, there must be a suitable passage through which the generator can pass. Access of unauthorized persons to the generator site should be restricted.
  • If it is necessary to put the generator outside the building, the generator should be placed in a cabinet or a room. In addition, it is beneficial to use a cabin to operate the generator temporarily inside or outside the building.

    • Generator Basis:

  • For the generator floor, there must be a reinforced concrete foundation with a depth of 15-20 cm and at least generator dimensions.
  • Reinforced concrete foundation reduces vibration by providing a firm and solid ground.
  • The ground on which the foundation sits should be able to bear the wet weight of the foundation and the generator.
  • If the generator is to be placed above the ground, the structure of the building must be capable of carrying the generator, fuel tank and other accessories.
  • If the generator room is a place where it is wet from time to time, the generator floor should be raised. Thus, the wear of the chassis is reduced.

  • The warranty period starts from the date the product leaves the factory and is 2 years.
  • The whole product, including all its parts, is under the guarantee of Universal Generator.
  • In case of malfunction of the product within the warranty period, the period of repair is added to the warranty period. The repair period of the product is maximum 30 working days. This period starts from the date of notification to the service station of the malfunction related to the product, or to the seller, dealer, agency, representative, importer or manufacturer-producer of the product in the absence of a service station.
  • If the malfunction of the product is not repaired within 15 working days, the manufacturer, producer or importer must allocate another product with similar features to the use of the consumer until the repair of the product is completed.
  • If the product fails due to material and workmanship or assembly errors within the warranty period, it will be repaired without any charge under the name of labor cost, replacement part price or any other name.

    ** Malfunctions resulting from the use of the product contrary to the matters stated in the user manual are not covered by the warranty.
    ** In order to continue the warranty of the device, the customer has to carry out the maintenance operations specified in the user manual under the supervision of the authorized service.

    • Although the consumer uses his right to repair;

  • Provided that the same malfunction occurs more than two times within a year, or different malfunctions occur more than four, or the total of different malfunctions within the specified warranty period is more than six within the warranty period, as from the date of delivery to the consumer, as well as the fact that these malfunctions make it permanent not to benefit from the goods. ,
  • Exceeding the maximum time required for its repair,
  • In the event that the service station of the company is not available, the consumer may request a free replacement of the product, a refund or a discount in proportion to the defect, in cases where it is determined that the defect is not possible to be repaired by a report prepared by one of the vendors, dealers, agents, representatives, importers or manufacturer-producers.
